be tested exceeds 660 Ω, the overload indicator "OL" is

Measuring Capacitance

Warning! To avoid electric shock and damage to the meter,
discharge any capacitor before measurement! Do not discharge
the capacitor by a short circuit, but by bridging the connections
using a 100 kΩ resistor (depending on the size of the capacitor).
Never connect the measuring probes of the meter to a power
source if you have selected the capacitance measuring range as
this will damage the meter. Before a capacity measurement,
measure to safety whether a capacitor still is charged (use the
DC V area).
