Measuring Frequency via Current Clamp
1. First remove the measuring cables before measuring via the
current clamp!
2. Set the rotary function switch (13) to the A
respectively to the A~ position.
3. Press the current clamp trigger (4) to open the clamp. Fully
enclose the conductor to be measured with the current clamp.
4. Press the frequency/duty switch key Hz/% (11), to switch into
frequency measuring mode.
5. Read the frequency value from the display.
Notes:
Do not enclose more than one conductor in the clamp during
measuring. Incorrect measurement values may be obtained.
Do not exceed the maximum input current of 600 A rms AC.
A frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 kHz can be displayed. If the
measured frequency is lower than 10 Hz, the display shows
"00.0". It is possible to test frequencies which are higher than
1 kHz, but the accuracy of the test result cannot be ensured.
