Measuring Duty via Current Clamp
1. First remove the measuring cables before measuring via the
current clamp!
2. Set the rotary function switch (13) to the A
respectively to the A~ position.
3. Press the current clamp trigger (4) to open the clamp. Fully
enclose the conductor to be measured with the current clamp.
4. Press the frequency/duty switch key (11) as many times until
the icon "%" appears on the right side of the display in order to
activate the duty cycle measuring mode.
5. Read the duty cycle value from the display.
Notes:
Do not exceed the maximum input current of 600 A rms AC.
Do not enclose more than one conductor in the clamp during
measuring. Incorrect measurement values may be obtained.
If the duty cycle is less than 10%, the symbol "UL" appears on
the display. If the duty cycle is higher than 94.9%, the overload
indicator "OL" appears on the display.
A frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 kHz can be displayed. It is
possible to test frequencies which are higher than 1 kHz, but
the accuracy of the test result cannot be ensured.
