Diode Test Function

This function enables you to test diodes and other semiconduc-
tors for continuity, blocking function or correct function.
Important! When using the unit for diode testing, never connect
the test leads to a power source. This may damage the device.
Do not perform measurements on voltage-carrying components
or circuits and always make sure that capacitors are fully
discharged before performing the measurement.
1. Connect the black measuring cable to the COM jack (9) and
the red measuring cable to the input jack (10).
2. Set the rotary function switch (13) to the Ω
3. Press the function switch key SEL (5) as many times until the
symbol appears on the display in order to select the diode
test function.
4. Connect the red measuring cable to the anode of the diode
and the black measuring cable to the cathode of the diode.
5. Read the measuring value from the display.
