Additional Pre and Post Filters (Optional)
For the installation of an additional post-filter, follow these steps:
Loosen the two hex nuts on the right side of the VA-Basic and remove the ultrapure water tubing
set. Insert the 75 mm tube into the left connector of the filter extension until it reaches the stop,
and insert it into the free connector on the VA-Basic.
Next, slide the filter extension over the two screws and secure it by hand-tightening the two hex
nuts. Take the ultrapure water tubing set and insert the angled connector into the right connector
of the filter extension until it reaches the stop. Carefully slide the Schott connector through the
lower opening and hand-tighten it. Ensure that the plastic tubing is not bent during the installati-
on of the tubing set.

After correctly installing the optional post-filter extension, the VA-Basic should appear as follows.
Next, attach the 1/4" stainless steel dispensing station extension to the post-filter extension by
hand-tightening the two hex nuts. Then, connect the angle-insert connector of the dispensing sta-
tion to the Schott connector of the post-filter extension.

Booster Pump Extension (Optional)
The extension with booster pump and power supply for the VA-Basic increases the inlet water
pressure.
Here's how to install it:
Mount the booster pump in a location of your choice between the water outlet and VA-Basic.
Optionally, you can also attach the booster pump directly to your filtration system. To do this, loo-
sen the two hex nuts on the left side of the VA-Basic and slide the pump unit onto the two screws.
Secure the booster pump by hand-tightening the two hex nuts.
Connect the plastic tube to the connector on the pump inlet (right side) and the water outlet. En-
sure that the tube is laid without any kinks and inserted fully into the connector.
Next, connect the plastic tube to the connector on the pump outlet (left side) and the Schott
connector on the pre-filter (left side) of your VA-Basic. Again, make sure the tube is laid without
any kinks and inserted fully into the connectors.
