3.2 Residual risks

Overturning: if the requirement to place the appliance on a stable work surface and in a properly
level position is not complied with, injuries may occur if the appliance overturns during operation.
Direct contact with live parts: if the plug is not disconnected, or the power supply is not disconnected
from the main switch before cleaning or servicing the appliance, the operator may suffer injuries
due to direct contact with the live parts.
Indirect contact: if the appliance is connected to an electrical socket which is not protected against
indirect contacts in accordance with the regulations in the country of use, the operator may suffer
injuries due to indirect contact with the live parts.
Danger of burns: some parts of the appliance, as well as the water used for cooking, reach very high
temperatures during operation and for several minutes after the end of use of the appliance. If the
prohibition to touch such surfaces as well as the water used for cooking is ignored, the operator is
exposed to the risk of burns injury.

4. Environmental notes

The appliance has been designed for use in an environment characterised by a temperature of be-
tween +10 °C and +40 °C and a relative humidity of between 30% and 80%.
Use of the appliance at a different temperature and/or humidity can result in unexpected opera-
tional anomalies and faults of the appliance.

4.1 Packaging

The appliance is contained in a packaging consisting of a cardboard box, polystyrene protections
and plastic film. Weights and dimensions are indicated in Tab.1 - Section 9.
For disposal, refer to the legislation in force in the country of installation.
We remind you that the packaging can be useful for storing the appliance, during a move or for
shipping the appliance for repair or maintenance to the retailer or manufacturer. The presence of
all the original packaging is essential for any warranty requests of replacement or repairs of the
appliance. Remove all internal and external packaging material before starting the appliance, in-
cluding all the protective films applied on the appliance, and remove accurately all the residual
glue (do not use abrasive products).

4.2 Storage

The packaging must be kept closed until the moment the appliance is installed, and during storage
it is necessary to comply with the markings regarding the positioning and storage of the packaging.
The packaged appliance must always be stored in the following conditions:

Do not store outdoors;

Store in a dry place, protecting it from dust and at a temperature of between 0 °C and +50 °C
and a relative humidity of between 30% and 80%;

Do not expose to the action of aggressive agents;

Protect from the action of the sun's rays;

Avoid impacts;

If stored for a prolonged period of time (more than three months), regularly check the condi-
tion of all the packaging.
