6 Getting started
Please note that the charging cable has two ends. The plug connects to the charging station,
while the socket connects to the electric vehicle.
Carefully read the instructions for the charging cable and the vehicle.
6.1 Starting charging
Stop the vehicle engine and set the gear lever to park.

Insert the Type 2 plug firmly into the socket at a suitable charging station (AC EVSE socket).

Plug the Type 2 socket into the electrical socket on the electric vehicle.

Lock your electric vehicle. The charging station (EVSE) will charge the vehicle.

May vary depending on the vehicle.
6.2 Stopping charging
Do not disconnect the plugs/connectors while the vehicle is charging.
Unplug the Type 2 plug from the charging station (AC EVSE socket) to interrupt the power

supply.
Remove the Type 2 socket from the vehicle.

Place the protective caps on the plugs/connectors and roll up the cable without bending it.

Pack the EV charging cable and store it in a suitable location.

7 Troubleshooting
7.1 The pins do not lock into place:
When inserting the cable, apply plenty of pressure until the pins are properly connected to the
EVSE or the electric vehicle.
7.2 The vehicle is not locked:
To start the charging process, the vehicle must be locked and switched off.
May vary depending on the vehicle.
8 Cleaning and care

agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the casing,
impair operation or cause discolouration. To prevent scratch marks, do not press too stron-
gly on the surface when cleaning.
Use a damp cloth to clean the cable.
Remove the product from the mains and the connected load before cleaning.

Do not immerse the product in water.
