ENGLISH
The IR600FC/RF is a passive infrared motion sensor (PIR) with built-in camera. When motion is detect, it sends alarm signals and
high-quality images to the system control unit.
The detector has a detection range of 12 metres when it is mounted at 2 metres from the ground. The detector consists of two
parts, a cover and a base. The cover contains all the electronic and optical components and the camera, while the base is used for
fixing. The base has arrangements for holes for installation on a flat surface and holes for fixing to the corner bracket (included).
The detector is also provided with a single tamper switch which is activated when an attempt to open the cover or detach it from
the wall.

Part identification

1. Illuminator
The illuminator provides sufficient light to acquire images in poor lighting conditions.
The blue LED and the illuminator both blink once when the function button is pressed for 10 seconds to
indicate that the detector was reset.
2. Blue LED/Function button
Meaning of the LEDs:
The blue LED lights up in the following conditions:
- When the PIR Camera is in low battery condition, every time it transmits a detected
movement, the Blue LED will flash for 2 seconds.
- When the cover is opened and the tamper switch is violated, the Blue LED will flash for 2
seconds, to indicate it is transmitting "Tamper" signal.
- When the Tamper condition persists, every time it transmits a detected movement, the Blue
LED will flash for 2 seconds.
- When PIR Camera enters Test Mode, the Blue LED will flash for 1 second. During Test mode,
the Blue LED will also flash for 2 seconds every time a movement is detected.
- When the PIR Camera is in 30 seconds warm up period, the Blue LED will slow flash.
- When the PIR Camera is transmitting captured images under fault conditions (low battery,
tamper switch activated), the Blue LED will continuous flash.
Using the function button:
- Press the button once to send a supervision signal.
- To reset the detector: hold the button pressed for 10 seconds. Release the button when the
illuminator and the blue LED blink once.
- For the learning procedure of the detector on the control unit
3. IR sensor lens
The sensor is used to detect the movements of people and/or animals by detecting their body
temperature.
4. Camera lens
5. Battery compartment lid
6. Tamper switch
The tamper switch is activated if the detector is detached from the wall or from the corner bracket
or if the cover is opened.
7. Battery compartment
8. Jumper JP3 PIR sensitivity
Jumper On
The jumper is
connected between
the two pins.
- Jumper on: "High" sensitivity level.
- Jumper off: "Normal" sensitivity level (default setting).
9. Jumper JP2
Jumper On
The jumper is connected
between the two pins.
- Jumper On: after transmitting following a detected movement, the signals and the acquired
images will be transmitted if any other movements are detected (default setting).
- Jumper Off: the detector has a "sleep time" (see below) of approximately 1 minute to save
energy.
10. Fastening screw
DS80IR9E-001
Jumper Off
the jumper is removed
or "arranged" on a pin.
Jumper Off
the jumper is removed
or "arranged" on a pin.
