Lo appears on the screen, when batteries are low and need to be changed.
Only use recommended batteries or those of the same or equivalent type.
Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types. Batteries are to be inserted with the
correct polarity.

1. What is BMI (Body Mass Index)?
- For adults from 19 to 99 years*:
It is the ratio between a person's weight and height. This index is used to assess a person's body fat.
Calculation: BMI = weight (kg)/[height (m)]

2. What is bio-electrical body mass analysis?
Bio-electrical body mass analysis is the resistance created by the human body when an electric current
passes through it. All body fat analysis bathroom scales work fundamentally on the same principle, which
consists of measuring the bio-electrical impedance of the human body, and combining it with the subject's
morphometric parameters (height, weight, gender, age, etc.) so as to calculate his/her pre-supposed
amount of body fat, based on clinical measurements.

To change the batteries, open the battery cover on the back of the scale unit.
Remove used battery and insert new ones. Batteries should be removed and
replaced by adults only.
