WARNING! Risk of material

Do not allow devices being charged to
overheat due to direct sunlight.
- When the device is in the cover 4,
fold it to the side facing away from
the sun.
- Figure A: if the device being
charged is not in the cover 4, place it
in a shaded area or cover it.
Do not use the device if there is visible
damage to the device or accessories.
Do not make any modifications to the
device.
The device must not be immersed in wa-
ter or any other liquids.
Protect connected cables (not included
in the items supplied) from damage
from e.g.:
- sharp edges
- hot places
- clamping or crushing
Always grasp cables by the plug and
do not pull on the cable.
Protect the device against damage, e.g.
from:
- drips and water splashes
- open flames
- knocks and similar violent effects
Do not expose the device to strong artifi-
cial light.
Do not place any objects filled with liq-
uids (e.g. vases or beverages) on or
near the device.
Do not operate the device in the imme-
diate vicinity of magnetic fields
(e.g. loudspeakers).
Candles and other open flames must be
kept away from this product at all times
in order to prevent the spread of fire.
In order to avoid any hazards, do not
make modifications to the device. Re-
pairs must be carried out by a specialist
workshop or the Service Centre.

4. Items supplied

1 solar charger
1 copy of the user instructions (online)
1 copy of the short manual (included)

5. Before using

1. Remove all packing material.
2. Check to ensure that all parts are pres-
ent and undamaged.
3. You can now unfold the solar charger
and expose it to the sun. To do this, you
have the following options:
- Hang the solar charger vertically us-
ing two hanging loops 6.
- Hang the solar charger horizontally
using two hanging loops 6.
- Place the solar charger on a flat sur-
face.
4. In all three cases align the solar charger
such that it is properly exposed to the
sun. This is described in the next sec-
tion.
NOTE: always make sure that the solar
cells 5 are facing the sun.

Note that the maximum ambient temper-
ature of +45 °C must not be exceeded.
This is especially important when using
it inside a motor vehicle.
NOTE: Please note that when used indoors,
the achievable output power is reduced due
to the filter effect of glass panes.
