This installation manual has been published in order to facilitate the installation of Thermo King vehicle-driven refrigeration units in trucks and vans. This manual is
comprised of several sections covering the installation of condensers and evaporators into the truck or van body. It also covers the components and wiring that
should be connected to the vehicle's engine that supplies electrical power to the unit. Due to its complexity, you should not attempt this installation unless you:
•
are an experienced mechanic.
•
can safely lift 34 kilos (75 lb).
•
are certified or authorised to repair and maintain transport refrigeration systems.
•
have a basic understanding of electricity and electrical wiring.
•
have the necessary tools and equipment to complete the installation.
•
are dealing with a truck or van body that meets the installation requirements in its design and manufacture.
