Instructions for mounting second bench
Congratulations on the purchase of a second bench for your Babboe City cargo bike! Below,
you will find the instructions for mounting the second bench. To disassemble, follow the
process in reverse order.
Before you start, check the packaging to ensure that all parts are included.
• Two templates to drill the correct holes in both side panels
• Seat and backrest (with holes for the belts)
• Plastic bag with pouches A, B and two belts
Required tools:
- Power drill and 6mm diameter wood drill bit
- Phillips screwdriver
- Open-end/ring spanner (size 10)
Assembly:
Step 1:
Drilling holes in the side panels
To drill the holes, it is a good idea to remove the side panels. However, you can also choose to leave the panels
in place. Trim the template to the size of the side panel. Place the template on the panel and tape it down so it
doesn't move. The logo on the template is a reference to show you which template to use for which panel. The
location may vary slightly.
Step 2:
Attaching the corners
On the four corners of both the seat and backrest,
attach a metal corner from pouch B using a bolt, washer
and cap nut from pouch A. It is best to attach the cap nut
first, and then the lock nut, otherwise there will not be
enough room for the cap nut.
Step 3:
Attaching the backrest
Attach the backrest, with the holes for the belts at the
top, including metal corners, to the side panel. Use the
bolts, washers and lock nuts from pouch B to do this.
