1. PROPER USE OF THE PRODUCT
The tow bar 'snap-in' is to be used exclusively for the towing of
broken-down vehicles which are equipped with suitable towing
lugs. Check the operating instructions of the vehicles be towed!
The towing equipment used by the towing vehicle and the
vehicle being towed must be at about the same height.
Any other use is not permitted.
This device is not intended to be used by children and persons
with limited mental abilities or without the experience required
to operate the device. Keep children away from the device.
The device is not designated for commercial use.
Intended use also includes observation of all information in this
manual, in particular the safety instruction. Any other use is
considered to be improper and may result in damage or injury.
The EAL GmbH assumes no liability for damages caused by
improper use.

4. SAFETY GUIDELINES
• These operating instructions are part of the
product and must be read carefully before using the
tow bar.
• All safety regulations must always be adhered to.
The operating instructions must be kept for the life
of the product and given to each subsequent user or
owner of the product.
• The parts of the vehicles to which the tow bar is to
be attached during the towing operation must be
sufficiently strong.
• This tow bar is only suitable for vehicles which are
fitted as standard with towing devices at the same
height, i.e. at the same distance from the ground.

• Therefore the tow bar must run parallel along the
longitudinal axis of the vehicle or in a straight
line with the direction the vehicle is being towed.
Therefore it may be necessary to drive in offset
alignment.
• Visibility between the two vehicles must ensure
that the rear/brake lights of the towing vehicle can
be seen from the vehicle being towed.
• Before the tow bar is assembled or mounted you
must first warn other drivers that a vehicle has
broken-down! Don't forget your own safety either.
Put on a safety vests and place at least one warning
triangle behind the broken-down vehicle at a
distance of 100 to 400 meters, depending on the
road traffic regulations of the country you are in.
• Secure both vehicles from rolling before attaching
the tow bar. There is a risk of getting crushed
between the two vehicles.
