N: No modules in series
Voc: Open circuit voltage of each module (refer to product label or data sheet)
Tcvoc: Thermal coefficient of open circuit voltage for the module (refer to data sheet)
Tmin: The lowest ambient temperature
When the modules connect in parallel, the output current will be equal to the sum of each
branch current. We suggest that every series SPV module string should be fused prior to
be connected with other strings. The maximum number of modules N= Imax (maximum
fuse current)/Isc. Please refer to the applicable regional and local codes for additional fuse
requirements.
The maximum voltage of the system must be less than
the maximum certified voltage 1500V typically and the
maximum input voltage of the inverter and of the other
electrical devices installed in the system. To ensure that
this is the case, the open circuit voltage of the array string
needs to be calculated at the lowest expected ambient
temperature for the location. This can be done using the
following formula.
The module must not be installed close to fire or
Flammable materials.
Each module should be fixed at least 8 points on long
frame or short frame.
The modules are supported parallel to the surface of the
building wall or roof. And the assembly is to be mounted
over a fire resistant roof covering rated for module's
application.
Use the existing installation holes instead of drilling
additional holes for installation (Drilling holes shall
against the reliability and warranty of the modules). The
installation and attachment materials (nuts, bolts, etc)
must be corrosion-resistant. Moment of force is 5N·m
for module mounting.
