Use of the electric water heater

4.2.1 Method of use

- Open any of the hot water taps connected to the water heater and then open the inlet valve.
- The water heater will now fill with water.
- When water flows from the hot water tap, this means the water heater is completely full of water and
the tap can be closed.
WARNING: During normal operation, the inlet valve must remain open at all times.
- Plug the appliance plug into the wall socket.
- If the indicator light (1) switches on, the thermostat will control the water temperature automatically.
When the appliance is operating and heating the water, the indicator light will be blue. The indicator
light switches off when the heating process is terminated.
When the water in the appliance reaches the set temperature, the water heater switches off
automatically.
When the water temperature falls to below the set value, the water heater will switch on automatically
to resume the heating process.
- Turn the temperature control knob (2) to raise or lower the water temperature in accordance with the
symbols on the knob.
