Indicator LEDs
Note the indicator LEDs on both your remote control and the electronic control unit(s)� The
following instructions can be used as a reference:
LED-Status
Meaning
OFF
Handset is switched off or is not supplied with power�
RED/GREEN Flashing
An attempt is being made to connect to an existing connection�
GREEN Flashing
Pairing mode, attempting to establish a new connection�
Signal received, system in operation�
RED Lit, fl ashing,
System error: During setup - The remote control was probably set
incorrectly to AWD mode (or the data cable is not connected correctly

Steady GREEN
Switched on and paired with the control unit�
Steady RED
Remote control has been completely reset, all modes are set to default
values�
Electronic control unit:

System errors
System errors can occur for various reasons� Contact Berger Customer Service if errors persist�
Use the table below for reference and troubleshooting�
For each LED display, the errors are indicated in the following way:

Flashing up to 8 times

All system errors are accompanied by an alarm from the remote control, which goes off to-
gether with the fl ashing after about 8 seconds or until the error is corrected� Various errors are
listed below:

Possible cause and measure
Usually caused by overloading the system,
avoid excessive load or steep slopes,
check that the vehicle brakes are not
applied�
Usually caused by a weak/discharged
battery, check the voltage�
Usually caused by an incompatible battery
or when a charging system is present
during operation�
Usually caused by prolonged operation
with a high load�
- Wait 5 minutes until the electronics have
cooled down�
- Divide long trips into shorter „trips"�
Usually caused by a loose or dry connec-
tion in the wiring or the use of a dead
battery�
- Make sure the system is switched off
and check the wiring and condition of
the terminals�
- Check the condition of the battery by
appropriate means (do not rely on the
caravan's internal battery monitor)�
Triggered if no output voltage is detected:
- Possible short circuit on the motor�
- Possible failure of the control system�
Switch the unit off and on again� If the
problem persists, stop using it and con-
tact service@fritz-berger�de�
