7.1

Maintenance

DANGER
Risk of electric shock due to damaged product
If a damaged product is used people can be seri-
ously injured or killed due to an electric shock.
u Do not use a damaged product.
u Mark a damaged product to ensure that no one
uses it.
u Arrange for a qualified electrician to rectify the
damage without delay.
u Have the product taken out of service by a
qualified electrician if necessary.
Examples of damage:
n Defective enclosure
n Defective or missing components
n Illegible or missing safety labels

Cleaning

DANGER
Risk of electric shock due to improper cleaning
The product contains electrical components that
carry high voltage. In case of improper cleaning,
people can be seriously injured or killed due to
electric shock.
u Clean only the outside of the housing.
u Do not use running water.
ATTENTION
Material damage due to improper cleaning
Improper cleaning can damage the housing.
u Wipe the housing with a dry cloth or a cloth
lightly moistened with water or spirit (94 % vol.).
u Do not use running water.
u Do not use high-pressure cleaning devices.
7.3

Firmware update

If a firmware update is available, you can download
it from our website under "Service". The firmware
file can be uploaded on the router's web interface
in the menu "System" > "Firmware" under "image".
Installing a language package
A firmware update will overwrite the pre-installed
language package. If you want to set the web inter-
face language to German, re-install the language
package after the firmware update and then restart
the product. The language package (file exten-
sion .tar.gz) can be uploaded in the router's web in-
terface in the menu "Services" > "Package Man-
ager" > "Upload". A restart is carried out in the
menu "System" > "Reboot".
