6. Service

a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replace-
ment parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the power tool is maintained.
b) Never service damaged battery packs. Service
of battery packs should only be performed by
the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

health risks
■ Hold the power tool by the insulated
gripping surfaces when performing work
where the power tool may hit hidden power
lines or its own power cord. Contact with a
live wire may electrify exposed metal parts of
the power tool and could give the operator an
electric shock.
■ Secure and secure the workpiece to a
stable surface by means of clamps or
otherwise. Holding the workpiece by hand
or against your body will cause it to remain
unstable, resulting in loss of control.
