2.8 Installing the mechanical limit switches

The following configuration is recommended for
both limit switches when the gate does not have a
ground-mounted maximum opening angle limiter.
See the following image:
Attach the motor arm (1-2) to the front connector (2) by tightening the bolts firmly.

Open and close the gate manually several times and check that the leaf movement is

regular and that the motor arm moves in a plane parallel to the movement plane of the
gate.
Check that the sleeve nut fits perfectly on the arm worm gear and that when closing and opening the gate,

there is at least a 5 mm gap between the sleeve nut and the closing and opening limit switches.
Fine-tune the opening and closing positions of the gate by adjusting the limiters as follows:

Set the gate in the closed position by the mechanical limiter.
a)
Loosen the closing limit switch (1) with a spanner and position it to touch the sleeve nut base (5). Lock
b)
it again by firmly tightening the bolts and tightening the threaded pin (6)
Place the gate halves in the desired open position.
c)
Loosen the opening limit switch (2) with a spanner and position it to touch the sleeve
d)
nut base (5). Lock it again by firmly tightening the bolts and tightening the threaded pin
(7)
Lock the actuator again with the manual unlocking key by turning the key 360 degrees clockwise.

Replace the worm gear cover and the motor cover.
