End Use
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Unplug the mains plug from the socket.
WARNING:
• Always unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning or
maintaining it.
• Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. It could re-
sult in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.
• Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
• The individual parts are not suitable for cleaning in the
dishwasher.
• Never wash the filter in the washing machine.
The housing of the appliance and the accessories can be
wiped with a slightly damp cloth.
Empty the Dust Container
1. If necessary, remove the accessories from the appliance.
2. Hold the appliance horizontally over a waste bin.
3. Press the button (2) to open the appliance.
4. Remove the filter from the dust container and tap out the
filter. For heavier soiling, clean the filter under running
water.
5. Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinsert-
ing it!
6. Empty the dust container. You can wipe it out with a
damp cloth. Dry it after that.
7. Put the dry filter back into the dust container.
8. Reattach the dust container to the motor housing:
- First place the dust container with the flattened side at
the bottom of the housing.
- Close the appliance by locking the latch on the dust
container at the top of the housing.
Storage
• Clean the appliance as described and allow it to dry
completely.
• Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in
a well-ventilated and dry place.
• You can store the appliance upright to save space.
• We recommend storing the appliance in its original
packaging if you do not intend to use it for a longer
period of time.
