Ironing without steam

STEP 1: The water tank does not need to be filled to iron without steam: When it is full it can be
emptied or left to be ready for the next use with steam.
STEP 2: Plug in the mains plug and turn the temperature control clockwise on the steam iron at
the mains power supply.
STEP 3: To increase the temperature of the steam station iron, turn the temperature dial
clockwise until the desired temperature is selected. Decrease the temperature by turning the
temperature control counter clockwise. The temperature indicator light will come on to indicate
that the steam iron is heating up: This will turn off when it is ready to use.
STP 4: After use, turn the temperature control knob to the 'MIN' position, then unplug the
steam station iron from the main power supply.

Vertical steam ironing

STEP 1: Hang the item that needs to be steamed vertically.
STEP 2: Fill the water tank according to the instructions in the chapter 'Filling the water tank'.
STEP 3: Turn the temperature control knob until a heat setting with at least 2 points is selected:
The higher the temperature, the more powerful the steam.
STEP 4: Keep the steam iron about 20 cm away from the item. Press and hold the steam button
or press the steam lock working in short bursts to remove any creases.

Easy-carry locker
1. The easy-carry locker attached to the base station can be used to easily transport the steam
iron. To do this, lift it in an upward motion until it clicks into place.
2. Before using the steam iron, the easy carry handle must be locked back into place against
the base unit: Press and hold the handle release button and gently lower it back into place.
Hints and tips
1. Always start on a low heat setting and work up to a higher setting where needed: The steam
iron takes less time to heat up than it does to cool down.
2. It is recommended to use the steam button for short bursts rather than for longer periods of
time. This can prevent water from dripping from the steam holes and can reduce the
frequency of refilling the water tank.
3. Before each use, check the labels on the fabrics to be ironed to make sure the correct
temperature setting is selected.
