Cleaning

Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the ZirbenLüfter® and unplug the power sup-
ply.
1. Cleaning of the evaporator container:
The evaporator container of the ZirbenLüfter is made of porcelain and therefore
dishwasher safe. In case of heavy soiling and limescale deposits, put a commer-
cially available descaler in the evaporator container and fill it to the brim with
warm water. Leave the evaporator container with the liquid for about half an
hour and then rinse it with water.
2. Cleaning of the stone pine filter:
Over time, dust can accumulate on the stone pine filter. You can remove the fil-
ter units individually from the ZirbenLüfter® CUBE II and CUBE mini II and rinse
them under lukewarm running water. Dry the filter afterwards and put them back
in when they are slightly damp. The ZirbenLüfter® CUBE II or CUBE mini II is rea-
dy for use again.
3. Cleaning of the wood:
Wipe pine wood surfaces with a damp cloth without adding any cleaning agent.

Information about the wood
The wood is rich in fragrant ingredients that are released slowly.
The surfaces of the ZirbenLüfter® are untreated and easy to clean. It no longer
requires any additional treatment such as oiling or waxing.
Swiss stone pine is a soft wood. Smaller dents in the Zirben wood can be „repai-
red": Moisten the dent several times with water, the wood swells and the dent
becomes smaller or disappears completely.
Colour:
It is natural that pine wood darkens slightly after some time.
