IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE
Basic precautions should always be followed when using an electrical appliance including the following
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY:
• It is forbidden to use this appliance unless connected to a suction unit.
• This appliance can be used by children from 8 (eight) years old and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities,
or without experience or practice, as long as they are supervised or instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the
related dangers. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children.
• Children must be supervised; do not allow them to use the appliance as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near
children.
• Do not put the appliance into water or liquids.
• Keep hairs, loose clothings, fingers and any part of the body away from openings and moving parts of the appliance and its
components.
• Do not put the appliance into water for cleaning.
• Always turn off the appliance before connecting or disconnecting it from the suction unit.
• The appliance is equipped with a roller for cleaning the surfaces: the user must avoid to block it.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected.
• Use only original spare parts.
• Use the appliance only as described in the user guide.
• Use only the accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
• If the appliance does not work as expected, or has fallen or been damaged or left outdoors or fallen into water, do not try to put it
into operation but have it repaired by an authorized service center.
• Do not insert objects into the openings.
• Do not use if any opening is blocked; keep the openings free from dust, fluff, hairs and any object that could reduce the air flow.
• Pay extra attention when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to vacuum flammable, combustible, explosive, radioactive liquids and special waste. Do not use in areas where such
substances may be present.
• Do not vacuum up toxic or corrosive materials (bleach, ammonia, disgorging agent, etc.)
• Do not use the appliance in a space saturated with vapors released by paints, paint solvents or some anti-moth products, flammable
powders or other explosive or toxic vapors.
• Do not vacuum hard or sharp objects such as glass, nails, screws, coins, etc.
• Do not vacuum anything that is burning or emits smoke, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
• Plastic films can be dangerous. To avoid the danger of suffocation, keep them away from children.
• Do not use to vacuum liquids unless connected to suction units suitable for the specific use.

• Remove the battery from the device before replacing the roller
• Remove the battery from the device before carrying out any work on the transmission belt
• Remove the battery from the device if it is not to be used for long periods of time.
SAFETY RULES AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE IF CONNECTED TO A STEAM DISPENSER:
• If the appliance is used in combination with steam dispensing machines, the flexible tube and the two front aluminum diffusers are
very hot; do not touch them unless after cooling!
• Make sure that the surfaces and elements to be cleaned can withstand the steam (test on small surfaces).
• Do not use steam on velvet, satin and leather.
• Do not use the device near people if they are not wearing protective clothing.
ATTENTION:
High pressure jets can be dangerous if improperly used. The jet must not be directed towards people,
animals, live electrical equipment or towards the steam generator.
• Do not direct the jet towards yourself or other people to clean clothing or footwear.
• Use this appliance only for its intended functions.
• Do not spray or wash the appliance.
• Empty and rinse the delivery circuit after each use with water without detergents.
• To ensure the safety of the appliance, only original spare parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer should be used.
ATTENTION:
hoses, accessories and connections are important for the safety of the appliance; use only those
recommended by the manufacturer.

- Part 2-69: Particular requirements for wet and dry vacuum cleaners, including power brush, for commercial use.
