work, in case of a voltage drop, or when inser琀椀ng/
moun琀椀ng an accessory part.
► Switch o昀昀 the machine if it comes to a stands琀椀ll
for any reason. This will prevent any sudden run-
up while the machine is una琀琀ended.
► Do not use the machine if any part of the housing
is defec琀椀ve, or if any damage is detected on the
switch, power line or plug.
► Ensure that the rota琀椀onal speed stated on the
grinding disk is equal to or higher than the mo-
tor speed of the machine. Only use appropriate
accessory parts.
► The exterior diameter of the grinding cup must
match the measurements provided on the power
tool.
► Diamond cup wheels and 昀氀anges must 昀椀t exactly
onto the grinding spindle of your power tool.
► Diamond cup disks must only be used for their
speci昀椀ed applica琀椀ons.
► The device may only be operated with the protec-
琀椀ve hood undamaged and fully func琀椀onal.
► Only use cup wheels which are smaller than the
lamellar ring of the protec琀椀ve hood.
► Replace the lamellar ring when it is worn.
Read the opera琀椀ng manual of the ma-
chine before use and comply with the
instruc琀椀ons contained therein!
Wear protec琀椀ve goggles and hearing
protec琀椀on while working with the ma-
chine.
The use of a face mask is recommended
for dust-intensive tasks.
Wear protec琀椀ve gloves while working.
Assembly

Disconnect the mains plug from the wall plug
before carrying out any tasks on the device.
Adjusting the handle
Open the two wing nuts left and right and move the
handle to the desired position. Tighten the wing nuts
again.
Mounting the diamond grinding disk:
Select a diamond grinding disk that matches the grade
and speci昀椀ca琀椀on of the material to be processed.
Only use diamond grinding disks that comply with the
data listed in the table below.
Ensure the correct size, height and diameter of the
hole in the diamond cup wheel.
The permissible rotational speed of the diamond
grinding disk used must at least match with the data
listed in the following table.
Please note the data provided on the diamond grind-
ing disk regarding its rotational and circumferential
speed.

► Unscrew the coupling nut (8) from the threaded
spindle using the socket spanner provided. While
doing this, press the locking bu琀琀on (2) and turn
the spindle by hand un琀椀l you can feel it engage.
► A 昀氀ange nut (6) is a琀琀ached to the threaded spin-
dle to stabilise the cup wheel. When working with
the suitable Collomix diamond cup wheel, always
ensure that the 昀氀ange nut is in place. Do not oper-
ate the device without the 昀氀ange nut.
► Centre the diamond cup disk (11) on the 昀氀ange
nut and spacer disk.
► Use a pinhole spanner to 琀椀ghten the clamp nut
(10) on the threaded spindle. Press and hold the
arrester bu琀琀on (3) while doing so to prevent the
spindle from turning.
► Check the cup disk for correct sea琀椀ng and free
running before switching on the machine. The
disk must not come into contact with the protec-
琀椀ve hood or other parts.
The cup wheel can heat up during use. Leave to cool.
You could burn your hands or cut/ tear your skin on
the segments. Always wear protec琀椀ve work gloves
when changing tool inserts.
Carry out a test run in a safe posi琀椀on and without any
material load. Interrupt your work immediately if you
no琀椀ce the tool running irregularly.
Only use original accessory parts!
