Functional Description

A — ON / RESET Button
Turns MicroVAT tester on or immediately stops any test
in progress and resets the tester.
B — YES / NO Buttons
Allows quick menu selections with YES (Y) or NO (N)
responses. YES (Y) button zeros amp probe when in
Digital Multimeter mode.
C — Scrollwheel
Turning scrollwheel moves selection arrow up or down,
or increases or decreases selected parameter.
D — Load and Sensing Leads
Load and sensing leads conduct current for load tests,
and serve as voltmeter leads. Connect red clamp to
positive battery terminal and black clamp to negative
battery terminal.
E — Amp Probe Connection
Sense amount and direction of direct current flow in any
diameter wire that allows the jaws to close completely.
Installs by connecting optional high (2-6342-1) or low (2-
6442-1) amp probe into connector on top of tester.
F — Infrared Printer Output
Sends infrared transmission to printer.
