• If you do not use the device for an extended
period of time, remove the batteries and store
them accordingly.
• Batteries should not be used in temperatures
under 0 °C. They may become damaged and
lose their capacity.
• Never hold the device directly to your ear.
Humans cannot hear frequencies > 16 kHz, but
they might the device emits at a high volume
and then therefore it might be harmful, if the
ear is exposed to them over a longer period.

4. Installation and use
Inserting the batteries:
• You need 4 x AA batteries to operate the device. Open the battery compartment on
the back of the device.
• Insert the batteries. Pay attention to the polarity. It is shown in the housing. (The
negative end of the battery always points to the spring in the battery compartment.)
• Close the battery compartment. The device is now ready for operation. The green LED
will flash at regular intervals. Please note that the device may start in pause mode
and then enter the operating mode. Do not move the device.
