WARNING: Read all of these instructions carefully before use and keep them for
future reference. Your child may risk injury if you do not follow them closely.

WARNING: Be aware of the risk induced by an open flame or all other heat
sources (for example, electric or gas heaters etc.) placed in close proximity to
baby's bedding.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Teddycal™ can be used from the birth of your child until he is around 4 months
old.
Always place your baby on his back to sleep with nothing near his face.
It is important to check that your baby is not too warm in his bed and that the
bedroom temperature is ideally not more than 19°C (66.2°F). To check his
temperature, place your hand on his tummy or the nape of his neck. Do not go
by his hands as they are often cold.
Health professionals recommend using an infant sleeping bag instead of covers,
sheets or quilts before your baby is 10 months old. The Red Castle sleeping bags
are available in three TOG ratings, to choose from according to the temperature

INSTALLING THE TEDDYCAL™
Teddycal™ baby wedge consists of two cushions (one teddy and one cushion).
1/ Place Teddycal™ where you wish to lie your child down (bed, cot, baby's
cradle).
IMPORTANT! The surface must always be safe, flat, horizontal and stable.
- Remove the teddy from the wedge.
2/
Lie baby on his back, well wedged against the cushion.
3/ Place the teddy as near as possible to the baby then attach it to the velcro
band.
- Make sure that baby's arm is above the teddy (in order to prevent him from
slipping down his cot).
4/ Gently raise the teddy to check that the velcro bands are firmly attached
together.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend that you wash the cushion cover and the cushion separately. It
will dry quicker and the cushion will retain its shape. To remove it, undo the velcro
strips and remove the cushion.
The cover, the cushion and the teddy can be washed at 30°C. Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron the velcro bands.
