Before first time use

1 Unpacking and initial cleaning
Before initial use, first remove all packaging materials.
Dispose of the packaging materials in environmentally friendly way, or keep them for storing your
stick blender later on.
Make sure the contents are undamaged and complete.
Fully unwind the power cable.
Before initial use, clean the blender attachment, measuring/blender vessel and vacuum cover.
If parts are missing or damaged, do not operate the stick blender. Please contact
Customer Service without delay on

2 Rinsing the blender attachment
Caution! Do not touch the blades, risk of cuts!
Never fully immerse the blender attachment in water or other liquids. If water does enter the
blender attachment, do not use it again until it is completely dry. Make sure that all cleaning
agents are removed without residues.
