2.1 Mounting the ground anchor
In order to enhance the stability of the curved pull-off, the
mast can be additionally equipped with a ground anchor (item
4192). Please mount the ground anchor as follows:
1. Mount the socket of the ground anchor in the same way as
you did with the mast socket in an appropriate distance (of
ca. 5 cm) behind the mast.
2. Bend an eyehook at the end of the catenery wire which is
included with the ground anchor and slide this eyehook
onto the fastening bolt of the ground anchor (fig. 15).
3. In a next step press the lateral plate onto the fastening bolt
of the ground anchor and then mount the cover from above
onto the pre-mounted parts (fig. 16).
4. Cut back the length of the catenary wire to fit into the re-
spective opening in the mast, plus an additional 4 mm.
Then use bending tongs item 4198 to bend an eyehook at
the end of the wire (fig. 17).
5. Clip the wire into the respective mast opening (fig. 18).
