Mounting instructions

General recommendations
The sensor should not be installed near
■
a heat source.
The sensor should not be installed near
■
an air discharge grill.
The sensor should not be installed in a
■
place where it can be directly affected
by the sun.
Install the sensor in an area that
■
provides proper device ventilation.
Nothing must restrain air circulation to
the sensor.
Suspended ceiling installation
The remote multi-sensor can be mounted
directly into suspended ceiling (Ø 32 mm).
To install the infrared remote
multi-sensor
1. Drill a hole into the suspended ceiling
(Ø 32 mm).
2. Place the infrared remote multi-sensor
in the whole.
Subnetwork communications wiring
The infrared remote multi-sensor can
■
be freely combined in a daisy chain
configuration (Subnet Adapter is
required to establish a pass-through
connection).
Cable length between each device of
■
the subnetwork (WTC controller /
Light / Blind expansion modules /
RJ-45 accessories) should not exceed
30 m.
The total max. length of the
■
subnetwork bus is 180 m.
Note that the End of Line termination
must be set before installing.
3. Screw the rear spring to the infrared
remote multi-sensor.
4. The sensor is now fixed to the
suspended ceiling.
