SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Basic safety precautions must be taken when using the vacuum cleaner. Read
all operating instructions before using the vacuum cleaner.
• The device is intended for household use only.
• Do not leave the vacuum cleaner unattended when the power cord is
plugged in. Unplug the device when not in use.
• Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
• Make sure that children do not play with the unit.
• Only use the device as described in these operating instructions. Only use
accessories from the manufacturer.
• Do not use the device with a damaged cable or mains plug. If the vacuum
cleaner is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors
or dropped into water, take the device to a repair service.
• Do not carry the device by the power cord or pull on the power cord. Do
not close any doors on the power cord, and do not route the power cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do not run the vacuum cleaner over the
power cord. Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces.
• Do not pull out the mains plug by the mains cable. Hold the mains plug
while pulling it out.
• Do not touch the power plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
• Do not insert any objects into the device openings. Do not operate the
device with the openings in the housing blocked. Keep the device free of
dust, lint, hair, and anything that restricts air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of body away from openings
and moving parts.
• Switch off the device before pulling out the mains plug.
• Be careful when vacuuming stairs.
• Do not use around flammable or explosive liquids.
• Do not vacuum up burning or smoking objects such as cigarettes, matches
or ashes.
• Do not use without a filter in place.
