Assembly and interchangeable tools

The tool is equipped with an SDS-plus fastening
system.
• Clean the tools and lubricate them thinly with
machine grease before installation.
For assembly:
• Pull back the fastening sleeve and hold it.
• Push the dust-free tool into the tool holder as
far as it will go and turn it. The tool locks
automatically.
• Check that the tool has locked by pulling on it.
Accessories may be hot after use. Do not touch
the tip of the accessory with your hand! Always
use protective gloves when removing the
accessories!
Dust collector and replacing the dust cover
Before carrying out vertical overhead hammer
drilling work, pull a dust collection device over
the drill bit. The front cover prevents dust from
entering the mechanism. Replace a worn or
broken dust cover immediately.
Attaching the auxiliary handle
The auxiliary handle can be fitted for both right-
handed and left-handed use. Tighten it by
turning the handle of the handle.
For safety reasons, the machine must not be
used without the extra handle. The extra handle
allows you to have more control during use.

Operation

• Always observe the safety instructions and the
applicable regulations.
• Pay attention to the location of pipes and
cables.
• Excessive force does not speed up drilling, but
reduces the performance of the tool, puts
unnecessary strain on the motor and can
shorten the life of the tool
• Resharpen or replace blunt drills.

Installation of SDS max working tools in the tool
collet chuck
• Clean the tool from dirt and rust and lubricate
the SDS max chuck with a thin layer of grease.
• Bring the tool chuck towards you and hold it in
this position.
• Insert a clean tool into the opening. If
necessary, turn the tool so that it enters the
collet without resistance.
• Release
the
collet;
automatically lock into the collet.
• Make sure the tool is securely installed by
trying to remove it from the SDS max chuck. If
the drill or tool can be removed from the chuck,
the installation procedure must be repeated.
All work consisting of changing the working tools
(drills and cutters with the SDS max chuck
system),
installing
adjustments, etc. must be carried out with the
power supply switched off: Unplug the tool's cord
from the mains socket!
Drill chuck protection device
If the hammer drill is equipped with a rubber
protection of the drill chuck, it is recommended
to use it when drilling with the drill bit upwards,
e.g. when drilling into ceilings. After installing the
drill bit in the drill chuck, place the guard on the
drill chuck. Dust and debris produced during
drilling accumulates in the guard, which helps
keep the drill chuck clean. When the work is
finished, remove the guard from the drill, remove
dust and debris from the guard and then rinse it
under lukewarm water.
• Do not drill or hammer too deep to avoid
damage to the dust cover
Switch on/off
• Plug the cable into the socket.
• To start the unit, press the on/off switch.
• To stop the unit, release the on/off switch.
• The harder you press the on/off switch, the
faster the tool works.
• Use lower speeds for starting.
