4 Functions
The aplic video grabber helps to record analogue video and audio signals from an
external playback device such as a video recorder or an analogue video camera
for digitisation using a computer.
With the help of the software provided, you can easily transfer your recorded
movies to your hard disk or DVD.
5 Set up
Remove the video grabber from the package and connect it to your computer and
analogue playback devices such as a video recorder or an analogue video camera.
For the video signal, you can choose either the Composite or the S-Video port on
the grabber.
Note: If your playback device supports both connections, then you will get better
signal quality via S-Video in general.
To transfer audio signals, connect the playback device to the Cinch port (Audio
L/R) of the video grabber.
Note: If you wish to connect the grabber with your video recorder, you can also
connect it to the Scart interface of the video recorder via a Scart adapter that is
available separately.
6 Driver Installation
Insert the installation CD into your drive and close the drive. The Autostart func-
tion automatically opens "Autorun.exe" which is located in the root folder of the
CD. Depending on the operating system, you may need to confirm it by clicking on
"AUTORUN.EXE".
This opens the installation menu. First click on "Install Drivers, so that the device
driver can be installed on your computer.
