when ground too fine, can also clog up the sieve in the espresso
maker.
• Always use water and under no circumstances milk or other liquids
with this appliance.
• Should your espresso maker be a model that does not incorporate a
top chamber (the espresso flows out sideways through one or two
spouts), please ensure that you place a sufficiently large cup under
the spout(s).
• Use clear water to clean the espresso maker each time it is used. Also
check at regular intervals for any blockages in the central column
located in the upper part of the espresso maker. To do so, remove
the gasket and the sieve.
• Do not clean the espresso maker in the dish-washer.
• Do not use any caustic or corrosive detergents.
• Clean the espresso maker at regular intervals using standard
decalcifying agents or vinegar solutions. Calcification can clog up
the espresso maker and impair safety.
• Keep the gasket clean and replace at regular intervals. Always
replace with the manufacturer's original spare parts that are suited
to the appliance.
