2. Leave the seat to engage the operator presence
control. If the motor does not stop in 3 seconds,
speak to an approved Husqvarna service agent.
Electrical cable
The BMS 150 has an electrical cable on an automatic
retractable cable reel. To prevent damage to the product
there are 2 safety devices on the electrical cable.
• Red marks on the electrical cable show that there is
approximately 1.5 m of cable left in the retractable
cable reel.
• If the electrical cable is pulled out fully, the cable
operate a switch in the cable arm and the product
stops.
Note:
The product can start when the cable is
retracted into the retractable cable reel and the
switch is reset. Refer to
switch on page 8 .

The cable arm cannot turn across the space
above the seat.

To reset the strain relief
To reset the strain relief switch
1. Disconnect the product.
2. Retract the cable.
3. Reset the strain relief bracket.
4. Connect the product.

Move the product near the mains socket if it
is necessary.
5. Start the product.

• Operation of the product can cause dust in the
air. Dust can cause serious injury and permanent
health problems. Silica dust is regulated as harmful
by several authorities. These are examples of such
health problems:
• The fatal lung diseases chronic bronchitis,
silicosis and pulmonary fibrosis
• Cancer
• Birth defects
• Skin inflammation
• Use correct equipment to decrease the quantity of
dust and fumes in the air and to decrease dust on
work equipment, surfaces, clothing and body parts.
Examples of controls are dust collection systems
and water sprays to bind dust. Decrease dust at
the source where possible. Make sure that the
equipment is correctly installed and used and that
regular maintenance is done.
