Before first Use
Remove the plastic strip that is located at the battery
compartment (8). It has been added for transport safety.
Inserting / Replacing the Battery
The battery compartment (8) is located at the front side of
the digital spirit level.
1. Pull down the battery compartment lid and then pull it
up towards you to open the battery compartment.
2. Insert two new batteries of the type CR2032 into the
battery compartment.
3. Pay attention to the polarity of the batteries. The plus
pole has to face up.
4. Close the battery compartment.
Replace the batteries if the display gets weaker or if it
shows incomprehensible results.
Installation
1. Release the locking clip (2) by pushing it up to release
the lock of the width adjustment (9).
2. Pull the width adjustment clip (2) backwards (Fig. a).
3. Place the digital spirit level on the selected spirit level
(Fig. b).
4. Press the adjustable clip as far as it will go towards the
spirit level.
5. Press down the locking clip to lock the width
adjustment into position.
