Faults
Motor fails to start up
No intake
Inadequate delivery rate
Thermostat switches pump off
Cause
- No mains voltage
- Pump rotor blocked -thermostat
switched off
- Non-return valve dirty
- Pump chamber without water
connection
- Air in intake line air-tight
- Max. suction height exceeded
- Suction height too high
- Coarse filter dirty
- Water level falling rapidly
- Pump performance diminishedby
contaminants part
- Motor overloaded - friction
caused by foreign substances
too high
Remedy
- Check voltage
- Dismantle and clean pump
- clean
- Fill water into intake
- Make sure intake line is close
- Check suction height
- Check suction height
- clean
- Place the suction hose at a
deeper level
- Clean pump and replace wearing
- Dismantle and clean pump.
Prevent intake of foreign
substances (filter)
