ule by the cable, as this might result in
damage.

Using the solar module

The solar module is charging the battery as soon as
it is connected and there is sunshine on the mod-
ule. It will stop charging when the battery is full, but
start again if the battery level decreases.

Consider the theft risk if the device is left
unattended.

Charging status

The solar charge regulator shows the status of the
battery with an LED indicator.
When the solar module charges the battery, the
LED flickers briefly every couple of seconds.
LED Description
High frequency The regulator detects the system
flash at start-up voltage.
1 flash - 12 V
2 flash - 24 V
Red blinking Battery is empty (<20%)
Red light Low battery level (<30%)
Orange light Medium battery level (30%-70%)
Green light Good battery level (>70%)
Green blinking Battery is full (100%)

Cleaning and maintenance

➤To achieve maximal output, keep the solar mod-
ule free from dirt and shadowing, such as from
bird droppings and leaves.
Occasionally clean the device with soft detergent
and water.

Storing the solar module

1. Roll up the cable in loops and fasten it with Vel-
cro tape to the handle.
2. Fold the solar module when dry.

The statutory warranty period applies. If the prod-
uct is defective, please contact your retailer or the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see
dometic.com/dealer).
For repair and warranty processing, please include
the following documents when you send in the
product:
• A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
• A reason for the claim or description of the fault
Note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can
have safety consequences and might void the war-
ranty.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, mate-
rials and parts. The warranty does not cover fading
of the cover and wear and tear due to UV radiation,
misuse, accidental damage, storm damage, or
permanent, semi-permanent* or commercial use.
It does not cover any resulting damage. Please
contact your dealer for claims. This does not affect
your statutory rights.

Possible cause and solution
If the battery is already full, the solar
charge regulator will stop the solar
module from overcharging the bat-
tery. This is correct behavior.
Make sure the cables are con-
nected.
Check for damage on the cable and
connectors, replace if necessary.
Make sure both halves of the solar
module are directed towards the
sun.
Change to a sunnier location, or
change the module direction to be
as close as 90° towards the sun as
possible.
If there are dirt or debris on the solar
cells, clean with a cloth.
