• In the event of power interruption and whene-
ver the product is put down, make sure that
the locking button is unlocked and, if not,
unlock. Otherwise the product may switch on
unexpectedly when the power is restored.
• Do not misuse the cable by using it to carry
the product, to hang it up or to pull the plug

heat, oil, sharp edges or moving machine parts.
Damaged or wound cables increase the risk of an
electrical shock.
• In the event that the connection cable is
damaged, it may only be replaced by a speci-

• If you wish to use an extension cable, ensure
that the cable is suitable for the purpose and
has a sufficient cross-section. Otherwise this
may cause a loss of performance in the product
and lead to overheating of the cable. If you are
unsure, contact a specialist.

an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock.
• If you cannot avoid using an electrical tool in
a damp environment, ensure you use a resi-
dual current device with a trigger current of
30 mA or less. Use of an RCD reduces the risk
of electric shock. NOTE: The term "residual cur-
rent device (RCD)" may be replaced by the term
"ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI)" or "earth
leakage circuit breaker (ELCB)".
• Do not force the product. Use the appropriate
power tool for the task in hand. The correct power
tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for

or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may affect the power
tool's operation. Have any damaged parts
repaired before using the product.
