5.5. Setting the start-up delay
The start-up delay suppresses an error signal while the machine is in the
process of starting and is not yet synchronous.
• Continuous setting between 0.5 and 15 seconds by turning the pot. (1).
• After application of the operating voltage the start-up delay is active only
once. If the drive is often turned on and off, couple the supply voltage of the
drive and the monitor. By doing so, the start-up delay is active every time the
drive is turned on.
5.6. Checking the output relay
Set the switch (3) to position I. The output relay is checked to see if it is oper-
ational. The red LED is lit if the output switches correctly.
5.7. Synchronous monitoring
Link terminals 7 and 8. The cycle time is increased by a factor of 1.4 after the
slip signal has been given. If the slip is smaller that the set value (by a factor of
1.4), the relay is automatically reset.
Terminals 7 and 8 not linked (slip monitoring); when the set pulse difference
number is reached within the cycle time slippage report is made immediately.
The relay must be reset via external release contact.
