Detaching the tablet from the keyboard base

<Only for model with Keyboard Base (FZ-VEKG21 series)>
When detaching the tablet from the keyboard base while it is turned on,
note the following points.
IMPORTANT
l Before detaching the tablet, confirm the following things.
- Save the necessary data.
- Close files you have opened from removable disks and network
drives.
- Remove peripheral devices connecting to the tablet.
l Do not detach the tablet in the conditions below.
Ÿ When playing/recording audio files or displaying motion video such
as MPEG files.
Ÿ When using communication software or network functions.
NOTE
l Do not detach the tablet in the rain.
A Release the detach lock (A).

B Slide the release lever (B) to the right so that the vertical line in the
center of mark (C) is aligned with the position of RELEASE mark (D).

C Detach the tablet from the keyboard base.
IMPORTANT
l When detaching the tablet from the keyboard base, hold the position
at the locations dashed line circled in the illustration.
l Attach/detach the tablet on a flat location.
l While holding the keyboard base with hand, attach/detach the tablet.
