Removing iso-strips

The batteries are already inserted on delivery and, for protection against premature
discharge, are provided with an iso-strip. In order to start up the scale, you must
remove the iso-strips. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the
device.
1. Press the locking tab slightly towards the battery compartment cover and remove it.
2. Pull out the iso-strips.
3. Put the battery compartment cover back in place.

Inserting/changing battery

For use you require 1 battery of type CR2032, 3 V.
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Slide the battery against the contact spring under the large square retaining tabs
and then push down. The battery will then snap under the opposite retaining lugs
so that it sits firmly in its holder.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). The plus pole (+) of the battery must face
upwards.
3. Put the battery compartment cover back in place. The locking tab must snap
securely into place.
Suggestions for changing the battery:
‚ The batteries need to be changed when
the display.
‚ Only use the type of battery that is specified in the "Technical Data".
‚ Dispose of batteries in an environmentally appropriate way (see
"Disposal").
