Statutory notice of liability for disposal of batteries
Batteries are not domestic refuse. As a consumer, you are legally liable to return used
batteries. You can return your used batteries to the public collection points in your area
or anywhere where batteries of the respective type are sold.
Note:
You will find these markings on the batteries:
Li = The battery contains lithium
Al = The battery contains alkali
Mn = The battery contains manganese
CR (Li); AA (Al, Mn); AAA (Al, Mn)
Disposing of used elec trical an d elec tronic equipmen t
The symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this
product must not be treated as normal household refuse; rather, you
must dispose of it at a collection point for recycling electrical and
electronic equipment. You can get further information from your local
council, the municipal recycling authorities or the shop where you
bought the product.
