Tips and Notes

• The product is suitable for storing valuables or to protect them from unwanted access.
Anti-theft protection is realised through its design, i.e. steel casing, door and lock construc-
tion. Unauthorised access to the items stored in the safe is thus hindered.
• When opening/closing the safe, make sure you are not observed by anybody during this time.
• Due to the thick door with the contained lock mechanics, only a part of the inside space is
available. Close the door carefully; do not apply force! Otherwise, items inside the safe may
be damaged.
• Never store the enclosed keys inside the safe. If you forget the code, it will not be possible to
open the safe!
• If you have forgotten the access code, open the safe with the key enclosed and set a new
access code.

Maintenance and Care

• Apart from the occasional battery change, the product is maintenance-free for you.
• The outside of the safe should only be cleaned with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Never use aggres-
sive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as the surface of the housing could be damaged
(discoloured).
Disposal
a) Product
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
Remove the inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable
batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to
indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols for the rele-
vant heavy metals are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead (marked on batteries/
rechargeable batteries, e.g. under the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to the offi cial col-
lection points of your community, in our stores, or everywhere where batteries/rechargeable
batteries are sold.
You thereby fulfi l your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
