6. Trouble Shooting
Reasons
Weak or no GPS signal can be
received at the place of SF200
is
At outdoor space but GPS signal
is blocked by buildings or car
roof
Bluetooth function unstable
Incomplete SF200 assembly or
invalid password entry
Bad connection
No action for few minutes may
cause Pocket PC to enter power
save mode. It will close the COM
port at the same time.
Weak or no GPS signal when
using SF200 indoors.

Methods
Connect to an external antenna and
locate it to open space to your SF200
and then run GPSViewer Cold start
function
Go outdoors and run GPSViewer Cold
start function again, or connect to an
external antenna to improve the poor
GPS signal
Power On/Off SF200. Re-Start PDA/PC
and refer to 5.2 Software Installation to
re-install software
Re-assemble SF200 or enter valid
password "1234"
Re-Start PDA/PC and refer to 5.2
Software Installation to re-install
software
Close the application and execute it
again to reopen the COM port.
Connect an external antenna to SF200.
