INSTALLATION OF THE COOKTOP
PROVIDING CLEARANCES WHEN INSTALLING ABOVE THE
OVEN.
To ensure proper ventilation and to avoid overheating of adjacent
surfaces, the cooktop must be installed:
1. at a minimum distance of 40 mm from the rear wall or from any
vertical surface;
2. there must be a distance of at least 10 mm between the opening for
the cooktop and the kitchen element located below.
It is not recommended to install the cooktop directly above
refrigeration or freezing equipment, dishwashers, washing
machines and dryers, as humidity can damage the electronic
components of the appliance.
If necessary, place a tight sectionalizer between the cooktop and other
appliances.
The electrical connection of the cooktop and the possible
built-in oven must be made separately for security reasons,
as well as for easy removal of the oven.
