Proceed as follows, to ensure the correct installation:
• Find a suitable location for mounting the camera.
• Unscrew the "mounting plate" (E). To do this, unscrew the "locking screw" (B) using
the "mounting tool" (A).
• There are mounting holes in the "mounting plate" (E). Mark these (e.g. with a pencil)
on the ceiling/wall.
• Drill the mounting holes.
• Fix the "mounting plate" (E) with suitable fi xings to the ceiling.
• Assemble the "camera housing" (F) as well as mounting rings + mounting plate in
the correct order. Please see "Fig. 1".
• Adjust the camera vertically and horizontally. Adjust the camera to the desired posi-
tion. Screw the "locking screw" (B) tight.
Make sure that the view of the camera object lens through the "central
mounting ring" (G) is not obstructed.
Do not point the camera directly at a source of bright sunlight or at
strong or indirect illumination as this may lead to overexposure and a
fuzzy picture.
Connecting the Camera
• Connect the "power supply cable" (D) to the low-voltage plug of a stabilised power
supply unit.
Only use a 12V/DC stabilised power supply unit (500 mA recommended).
• Connect the "video output" (C) to the analogue video input on your monitor.
• Plug the power supply unit into a suitable mains socket.
Getting Started
• Make sure the power supply unit unit is connected to the camera.
• Plug the power supply unit into a mains socket.
• Switch on your monitor.
• Select the appropriate channel on your monitor to obtain a picture.
Please consult the operating instructions for your monitor.
Setting the FOCUS and ZOOM
The camera is equipped with controls for the ZOOM and FOCUS. After successfully get-
ting started, the FOCUS and ZOOM can be adjusted using the enclosed adjustment
tools.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning the housing of the surveillance camera, separate it from the mains
voltage and disconnect the wall plug transformer from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the camera, it is suffi cient to use a dry, soft and clean cloth.
Clean the camera housing very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any
aggressive cleaning agents.
Disposal
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household
waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
