Remove the protective plastic foils on the front of the charger.
The charging cable need only be fitted to the battery once. After this, you can simply
connect and disconnect the charger and the battery by means of the connector (at the
end of the charging cable).
1.
Disconnect the minus cable from the battery pole first before
fitting the cable.
2.
Hold in the clip on the connector and pull the end of the
charging cable out.
3.
First connect the red battery clip to the + pole of the battery,
and then the black clip to the – pole of the battery.
4.
Lay the cable in such a way that you can plug in the
connectors easily. Fix the cable securely to the frame.
5.
Restore the connection between the minus cable and the
– pole of the battery.
Always connect the battery charger to the battery by means of the connector first.
After this, you can plug the charger into a working, earthed mains socket. Check that
the 'power on' LED and one of the LED indicators light up.
When you want to disconnect the charger from the battery, the charger must be
switched off firstly and the power plug must be removed from the outlet.
