2. Pour ground co ee using the measuring spoon in the nylon lter. You can adjust the amount of co ee to
your own taste and preferred strength.
3. Insert the nylon lter in the holder.
4. Place the co ee carafe on the heating plate. Make sure that the center of the carafe is aligned with the
lter holder.
5. Press the power button, the red indicator will light up and after a while the co ee will automatically drip
into the carafe.
Note: You can remove the carafe at any time and serve co ee, but the carafe should not be removed for
more than 30 seconds, otherwise the co ee may over ow the edge of the funnel.
6. After the co ee drip is nished, the co ee maker is in the warming mode. You can now switch the co ee
maker o .
7. You can switch o the co ee machine immediately after brewing co ee by pressing the power button. If
you do not switch o the co ee machine, a timer will start, which will automatically switch o the co ee
machine after 40 minutes.
Warning: Do not leave the co ee machine unattended while making co ee, making co ee may require
manual intervention.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Always unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning and let the appliance cool o
thoroughly!
• Wipe the outside of the appliance with a moist cloth and then wipe dry. Clean the water tank and drip tray
regularly.
Do not use alcohol, solvents or abrasives for cleaning, they could damage the surface nish. Never
•
immerse the base of the appliance in water!
• Remove the lter holder by turning it clockwise and remove any co ee grounds. Then you can wash it
with detergent, but in any case it is necessary to at least rinse it with water. Do not wash the carafe in the
dishwasher.
• Wash all removable parts with water and dry thoroughly.
Descaling
In order for the co ee machine to serve you well, you should regularly remove lime scale every three months
or as needed (depending on water quality and frequency of use). Proceed as follows:
1. Fill the carafe with one part fermented vinegar and three parts cold water.
2. Pour the mixture of water and vinegar into the water tank. Do not put co ee in the co ee machine and
brew the vinegar solution as described in the chapter "Before using for the rst time".
3. Repeat as needed until a yellowish liquid stops owing out of the co ee machine. Then let the co ee
machine brew clean water until the smell of vinegar disappears.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before contacting an authorized service center, check the points in the following table: If the problem persists,
do not attempt to repair the device yourself and contact an authorized service center.
