7. Close the load plate.
Installing the CPU fan and heatsink assembly
1. Place the heatsink on top of the
installed CPU.
. Drive four screws into the fan
holes to secure the fan to the
motherboard.
NOTE: P3-PH5X does not include a CPU fan and heatsink assembly. Purchase
a boxed CPU and install the CPU fan and heatsink assembly following the
installation instructions that came with the package.

Installing a DIMM

1. Unlock a DIMM socket by
pressing the retaining clips
outward.
. Align a DIMM on the socket
such that the notch on the DIMM
matches the break on the socket.
3. Firmly insert the DIMM into the
socket until the retaining clips
snap back in place.

8. Lock the load lever.
3. Connect the CPU fan cable.
